Keyboard to joypad emulation
----------------------------
If your emulation software has keyboard to CD32 joypad emulation and you
don't turn it off, you'll find that keypresses generate different joypad
buttons, which in turn controls DCPlayer (eg. RETURN button causes it to
pause).
CD32 emulation
--------------
Some of the emulation software kicking around is a shambles to be honest, so
you may well have problems with a couple of things. I can only say that I've
followed the guidelines, so if it doesn't work it's the emulation software's
fault. Please feel free to vent your spleen at the author of your particular
emulation software.
There's an EMULATION option which can get rid of problems with most kinds of
CD32 emulation by disabling features or using different commands to control
the CD. The option is built up out of a set of letters - each letter changes
a different feature. To use it, find out what goes wrong, string some letters
together, and put them in the EMULATION option.
- E
Eject. Disables the eject button - use if DCPlayer reckons that the CD has
been ejected and stops playing the CD when in actual fact it hasn't.
- P
Pause.
Use if the CD starts up playing again in pause mode when you skip tracks -
this'll fix the problem.
- S
Search. Replaces the forward and reverse search commands with a cunning set
of seek commands, so that drives that can't search can. The bad point about
this is that you can't hear music as it searches.
- T
Time display. Disables the time display - use if the computer crashes or
locks up or the time display goes wrong as soon as or shortly after you
play a track.
Ok, so what's that in English?

- Archos Overdrive version 9
